Hisar : Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij said that liver and kidney transplant facilities will be made available in Rohtak Medical College and he has given directions in this regard. He said that providing better health services to the citizens of the state is the topmost priority of the state government.
During the tenure of the present government, apart from medical colleges, and civil hospitals in various districts, excellent health facilities have also been made available at the village level.He was addressing the gathering after the inauguration of Sarvesh Hospital in Hisar today.
The Health Minister said that earlier government hospitals did not even have X-ray machines, today X-ray, ultrasound and MRI machines have been made available in all district hospitals. There are 4 cath labs running in the state. He said that 162 PHCs have been identified, which will be reconstructed.
Apart from this, ECG and X-ray machines will be made available up to the PHC level, so that good health facilities can be provided to the people.He said that new hospitals would be built in the rural areas to improve the health facilities. Wherever there is an old building, it will be demolished and a new one will be made.
Mapping of government hospitals in the state is being carried out. After a detailed report, new hospitals will be built according to the needs of the people. The Health Minister said that recently 46 health institutions with a cost of Rs 232 crores have been inaugurated in 17 districts of the state.
He said that with the opening of new medical colleges in the state, the number of MBBS seats has increased to 1900, which was 750 earlier. The state will get 7 new medical colleges in the coming time, after that, the number of MBBS seats will increase to more than 3 thousand.
The Health Minister said that 15.5 lakh families in the state have benefited from the Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Yojana. The Haryana government has implemented Chirayu Haryana Yojana by increasing the scope of this scheme. Now about 29.5 lakh families in the state are getting benefits under these schemes. Under the Nirogi Haryana Yojana, 25 types of tests are done for the health of the citizens.
After suspending the police personnel at the Narwana police station on Sunday, he said in a warning tone that strict action will be taken against those who do not perform their duties properly. A report has been called from the entire state. After reviewing all the FIRs and files pending for more than a year, action will be taken against the negligent police personnel, he said.After this, Health Minister Anil Vij also attended a public program organized at the residence of BJP leader Dr. Yogesh Bidani and met party workers.
