Home Minister Anil Vij said, “I graduated from Ambala’s college in 1972, then their college was affiliated to Punjab University”

Chandigarh : Haryana Home and Health Minister Sh. Anil Vij said that we already have stake in Punjab University and in the past many colleges of Haryana have been affiliated with Punjab University. He said that in 1972, he did his graduation from SD College of Ambala Cantonment and then his college was affiliated to Punjab University.
Sh. Vij was interacting with the media persons at his residence after redressing the greivances of the people at Ambala today. He said that we are not demanding any share from Punjab. We already have our share. Haryana was formed in the year 1966. Even after that many colleges have been affiliated with Punjab University.
He said that he himself is a graduate from Punjab University. However, he studied in SD College, Ambala Cantonment, which was affiliated to Punjab University. He graduated in 1972 and after a year or two the college got disaffiliated frim PU. Now just have to get affiliated again.
Our share is already there, otherwise this issue would have ended in 1966 itself, he added.Significantly, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has refused regarding Haryana’s part in Panjab University.

Complainants are reaching Home Minister Anil Vij’s residence everyday with problems. On Monday also, Home Minister Anil Vij redressed the greivances of the complainants and gave directions to the officers to take action.
A person from Karnal complained of being cheated of Rs 25 lakh in the name of sending his daughter to America, on which Home Minister Anil Vij handed over the investigation to the SIT constituted for immigration fraud cases.
The relatives of the girl, who came from Palwal, complained of misbehavior with her and the police not arresting the accused. The Home Minister directed the Police Commissioner, Faridabad, to change the investigating officer in this matter and take action.
Similarly, Ambala City cloth merchant complained of being cheated of seven and a half lakhs in cloth trade. Apart from this, a married woman complained of not taking action in the dowry harassment case, a resident of Ambala Cantonment did not allot her plot in Haryana Urban Development Authority Sectors, on which Minister Vij directed the concerned officers to take action. Apart from this, Home Minister Anil Vij have given directions to the concerned officers for other complaints.
