Sant Nirankari Mission Observes World Environment Day at 15 Tourist Hill Stations

Panchkula /Chandigarh : With the holy blessings of Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj and Nirankari Rajpita Ji, Sant Nirankari Mission’s social wing Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation observed World Environment Day on June 5, 2023 and organized a Mega Cleanliness Campaign based on the UN theme ‘Beat Plastic Pollution’ to save the world from the crisis of global pollution and global warming.
In the midst of an environmental crisis where the whole world has come together to fight pollution, thousands of volunteers of the Nirankari Mission will be serving in their Sewadal uniforms and the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation’s blue T-shirts and caps. Along with this, the devotees and the residents of the respective cities shall also join a mega campaign of tree plantation and cleanliness so that nature can be made clean, pure and beautiful.
Sant Nirankari Mission has covered 15 tourist hill stations across India, mainly Uttarakhand – Mussoorie, Rishikesh, Lansdowne, Nainital; Himachal Pradesh’s – Shimla town, Manali, Dharamshala; Maharashtra – Mahabaleshwar, Panchgani, Khandala, Lonavala, Panhala, Gujarat – Saputara city, Jorethang in Sikkim and Nandi Hills in Karnataka.
This campaign will start from 8:30 am with a prayer in which all the volunteers will participate surrendering themselves to the service of mankind in the Divine Presence of Almighty and it will end around 1:00 pm. The Secretary Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation, Sh. Joginder Sukhija, mentioned that the young volunteers of the Sant Nirankari Mission will make people aware of the environmental crisis by organizing street plays (Nukkad-Natak) on the theme of ‘Beat Plastic Pollution’.
All the volunteers will form a human chain using placards and banners to emphasize the message of No Plastic Use, Beat Air Pollution, Cleanliness and Tree Plantation. Alongwith this, cloth bags will also be distributed at the Malls of these Hill Stations to make people aware of the fact – No to Plastic Use. All the participants present in the programme will also take an oath for ‘Environment Protection’.
Sant Nirankari Mission has been celebrating ‘World Environment Day’ on the theme of United Nations Environment programme since 2014. Proper arrangements are being made for refreshments, parking and medical aid at the workplaces for all the participants.
With the holy blessings of Satguru Mata Ji, on the occasion of 75th Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, ‘Amrit Project’ was organized across India on 26 February, which received appreciation from all walks of society.
In order to give more momentum to this project, Sant Nirankari Mission will do ‘Water Body Cleanliness Campaign’ ‘ at more than 100 Locations on June 4 and 5, 2023, at their level. Sant Nirankari Mission is continuously devoting itself every moment to the service of humanity along with spiritual awakening.
Tree plantation, cleanliness campaigns, blood donation camps etc. are the vital services executed. Apart from this, for the upliftment of the society it is also running many welfare projects for women empowerment and giving positive guidance to the energy of the youth. For these selfless services, the Mission has been appreciated by various state governments.
All these services for charity are continuing under the guidance of Satguru Mata Ji. Definitely, such campaigns organized from time to time are a meaningful step to maintain the balance of nature in which Nirankari Mission is playing its important role.
