DC Ramban Mussarat Islam releases compensation in favour construction worker

Ramban : Deputy Commissioner, Mussarat Islam released an amount of Rs 10.98 lakh to construction worker Rakesh Chand who lost his arm while working with Patel Engineering Company.

The cheque was handed over to the beneficiary in the presence of Assistant Labour Commissioner Ramban, Dr Sushant Mahajan. The Deputy Commissioner emphasised the importance of providing support and guidance to workers in the construction sector.

Dr Mahajan highlighted various government initiatives for the welfare of workers, including health and safety measures at work sites and a database of registered workers to ensure timely support.
The ALC stated that the government is running several schemes for the welfare of building and other construction workers with the objective of regulating employment and conditions of service and providing safety, health and welfare measures for registered workers.
