Bhawanigarh/Sangrur : Delegates of the Samuh Diviayang Ekta Welfare Club Bhawanigarh today handed over a memorandum of demands to the School Education and Public Works Minister Mr. Vijay Inder Singla here at Bhawanigarh. Cabinet Minister Singla assured that their demands would be considered on priority basis.Specially abled, who handed over memorandum under the leadership of Mr. Sukhraj Singh, said that they should be given priority in government jobs, artificial limbs and tricycles, UDID, special arrangements for making cards and in debt waiver.Cabinet Minister Vijay Inder Singla assured specially abled people that the Punjab government was committed to address their demands and the issues would be resolved as soon as possible. Mr. Singla said that special camps will be set up soon for issuance of UDID cards and monthly pensions. He said that the people who were not getting their pensions would not have to go to the offices but the various problems of the specially abled people would be resolved by setting up at these special camps.Mr. Singla said that in coordination with the Red Cross, tricycles would be made available to the Diwang people soon. He said that he would seriously consider the remaining demands and resolve them on priority basis.
