Students Played Games, Exhibited Talent, Enjoyed Delicacies and Rewarded During Diwali Mela’21 Celebration at CGC Jhanjeri

Mohali : Magic created with colours at face painting / tattoo making stall, creativity was at its best at the handmade accessories stall, melodious music filled the air by the flute seller, aim and concentration was tested at shooting gun game, luck being tried out at the ring game, all this and much more was there to be seen at the Diwali Mela’21 CGC Jhanjeri . Along with plethora of games and activities stalls there was much to quench the bona appetite. The aroma of bhel puri pulled everyone towards it, there was not a step to place at the golgappa stall and kashmiri kawa was delicious at its best.It was an altogether different site after the pandemic lockdown.

Standing true to the theme of the celebration “Light Up with a Smile”, it is worth mentioning here that it is a victory not just for everyone associated but for the humanity as a whole, as we have braved a rough period.Students also exhibited their talent in nail art, hair style, makeup, anchoring plus other games. The work and preparation or the efforts of the students didn’t go without being noticed. At the end , prizes were given to students on the basis of their performance in different activities.Speaking on the occasion, Arsh Dhaliwal, Managing Director, CGC Jhanjeri said that after staying at home for more than one year, it was the most opportune occasion for students to mix up. Such activities enable students to grow out their personality by taking part in various activities.
