RBU to organise Super Brain Hunt competition

Mohali: The Rayat Bahra University has decided to organize a competition for the hunt of super brain and genius among students appearing in Class X to Class XII of all schools across the country.Vice-chancellor of the Rayat Bahra University Dr Parvinder Singh said here today that the test would be in English medium only and there is no entry fee for registration to participate in the competition.He said that the students would have to have a school ID card, Aadhar card and Class X certificate and appearing certificate will be the basis of verification of the winners.The test would be based on general aptitude, logical reasoning and skill. The test will be held online in one round only and will be monitored through a working camera, laptop camera or webcam installed in the students’ system only.

The test is auto timer based so no question will be repeated in case of power failure, network issue, or any delay from the student’s side. Top 10 students who score the highest marks will qualify for a cash award.In case of tie among two or more students for any particular position, the student who has completed the test in lesser time will be announced as the winner. First ten winners will get exciting cash prizes.The Grand Cash Prize of Rs 1 lakh will be awarded to the winner of “National Genius Hunt” award in addition to the admission offer at RBU under 100 percent tuition fee waiver category.The second prize would comprise of Rs 50,000 cash in addition to admission offer at RBU under 100 percent tuition fee waiver category.

Dr Singh said that the third prize would be Rs 25,000 in cash besides admission offer at RBU under 100 percent tuition fee waiver category. The 4th to 10th Prize would comprise of Rs 10,000 cash each in addition to admission offer at RBU under 50 percent tuition fee waiver category.The VC said that e-certificate will be given to top 100 qualifiers. This competition is open for participation of individual students only. This offer will not be clubbed with any other scholarship or offer by Rayat Bahra Group.The students desirous of participating in the competition should register and on successful registration, user ID and password will be generated. The students need to check your log in ID and password at least one day before the test date and update their profile.The last date of registration is February 5.
