S.A.S. Nagar (Mohali) : Senior Superintendent of Police, District SAS Nagar said in a press note that on 25.05.2022, some unknown persons snatched Rs 40,000 on gun point from Manohar Medical Store in the area of PS Sohana.
A case FIR No 259/2022 u/s 379B,34,506 IPC & 25,27 Arms Act PS Sohna was registered. Further on 11.06.2022, unknown accused had also snatched a bag containing gold and silver jewelry on gun point from the jeweler Parveen Kumar and his wife at main Bazar Landran.
A case FIR No 278 dated 11.06.2022 u/s 379B IPC and 25 Arms Act PS Sohana was registered.Various police teams under the supervision of Sh. Kuljinder Singh DSP (Investigation), Sh. Sukhjit Singh DSP (Sub Division City-2), Insp. Shiv Kumar I/c
CIA Mohali and Insp. Gurjit Singh, SHO PS Sohana were deputed to trace the above said cases. Following three members of the gang are arrested on 25.06.2022

All the accused have been produced in Court and police remand has been obtained and further revelations are expected. The case is under investigation.
