First district certificate under Punjab Right to Business Act issued*

District Administration under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner issued the first certificate of the district under Punjab Right to Business Act – 2020 here today at District Administrative Complex sector 76. Additional Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain issued the first certificate to entrepreneur Shamsher Singh Sandhu under the Project named ‘Lodestone & infra Developers’ for setting up stores for Agri related Products. Highlighting the features of the Act, the Deputy Commissioner said that under this Act, all the NOCs related to set up a new enterprise would be completed within 15 days after submitting application on the ‘Business First

Highlighting the features of the Act, the Deputy Commissioner said that under this Act, all the NOCs related to set up a new enterprise would be completed within 15 days after submitting application on the ‘Business First Portal’. All the formalities and NOCs related to the new business / business start-up would be awarded through this single window in a stipulated time. He said the Department of Industries and Commerce have taken this new initiative to promote the business in the state besides providing ease of doing business with the required approvals.Thanking the Punjab government after receiving the certificate of approval under Single Window System ‘Business First Portal’ entrepreneur Shamsher Singh Sandhu said that it is hard to believe that one can get all the approvals within days of submitting application through a hassle free mechanism. He expressed hope that the initiative of the Department of Industry and Commerce of Punjab Government definitely boost the business in state by successful implementation of the ‘Punjab Right to Business Act-2020.Additional Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain said that first no objection certificate from all the departments has been given to the entrepreneur within 10 days from the date of application through single window which is ‘Business First Portal’.ADC appealed to the entrepreneurs and people of Punjab to invest without any hesitation. She also ensures all the support and corporation from the government and district administration. On this occasion G.M. (DIC) Gurcharan Singh Deol, Functional Manager Deep Singh Gill and other officials were also present on the occasion.
