DC Vishesh sarangal orders revenue officials to clear pendency of mutation cases in a week

Dhilwan/Kapurthala : With an aim to reach out the people for hassle free service delivery of Government services and welfare schemes besides reviewing the development works , Deputy commissioner Kapurthala Mr. Vishesh sarangal today visited the Sub Tehsil Dhilwan .

During this visit, Deputy commissioner Mr. Sarangal took a serious note of delay in Mutation cases after reviewing the work pendency of revenue officials and Patwaris.He said that “SDMs would be responsible to ensure the on time disposal of mutation cases by the revenue department “.

He made it clear that the administration will not tolerate any unwanted delay in revenue related works. He also asked the Patwaris to clear the mutation pendency cases till coming Friday besides submitting a detailed report in this regard.

Hailing the efforts of Patwari Simranjit Singh for zero pendency in mutation cases , Deputy commissioner announced to award him with an appreciation certificate for outstanding work.

Interacting with the people who arrived in sub tehsil Dhilwan for their works, Deputy Commissioner listened to their grievances and ordered the officials to dispose off these grievances at the earliest.

Deputy Commissioner also visited Nagar panchayat Dhilwan to reviews the development works besides asking the officials to submit Utility certificates (UC) in given time frame. Besides that Deputy commissioner also checked the Income and expenditure details of Municipal council Dhilwan.

He also listened to the grievances of people here. People raised the issue regarding lack of STP, on which Deputy Commissioner said that the issue would be discussed with the sewerage board at higher level.

He also reviewed the segregation of solid waste management, collection of property tax. The tax was found collected to the tune of 98 % against the fixed target . He also asked the Executive Officer MC Dhilwan to remove the illegal advertisement hoardings with immediate effect.
