Social Security department’s district and block level offices to be ‘paper-free’ soon, asserted Aruna Chaudhary

Asks Nodal Officer-cum-Additional Director to furnish necessary details of subordinate offices to the NIC

District and Block level offices of the Social Security, Women and Child Development would be ‘paperless’ soon by implementing e-office system, for which the department has pulled up socks as the Cabinet Minister Mrs. Aruna Chaudhary has strictly instructed to execute the online system in its true spirit.She directed the Additional Director-cum-Nodal Officer for implementing e-offices at headquarters, district and block level offices to provide necessary details to the National Informatics Centers (NIC) at the earliest.“Instructions of Punjab government to achieve the target of paper-free offices have been forwarded to the district and block level offices”, she said, adding that e-offices system has been fully adopted at headquarters and all kinds of approvals are given and files are routing accurately through this new system.Mrs. Chaudhary has categorically issued directions to the Additional Director-cum-Nodal Officer for the smooth implementation of the e-office system. She informed that representatives of the e-governance department and National Informatics Center (NIC) will jointly impart specific training to officers and employees of the district and block offices.
