Bathinda : Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal slammed all the opposition parties and said that all three traditional parties, Akali-Congress and BJP are conspiring against him and have come together to defeat the Aam Aadmi Party. Under a well thought out strategy, all the corrupt people are assembling and calling me a terrorist, said Kejriwal.Arvind Kejriwal said that the British had called Bhagat Singh a terrorist because they were afraid of Bhagat Singh. These corrupt people are also afraid of ending their business of loot and corruption, that’s why everyone is calling me a terrorist. Kejriwal called himself a sweet terrorist and said that I am the first terrorist in the world, who built good schools and good hospitals for the people and improved the condition of electricity and water.
Addressing the media during a press conference in Bathinda on Friday, Kejriwal said that all the parties are opposing us because AAP is talking about building good schools and hospitals for the people of Punjab. They are talking about providing good education and good medical facilities to the people. They are talking about arranging free electricity, water and free treatment to the common people. There are talks of setting up Mohalla clinics and village clinics. They are talking about giving employment to the youth by taking them out of the clutches of drugs, talking about improving the condition of the farmers and paying them on time. We are talking about giving 1000 rupees every month to empower women and we are talking about ending corruption and mafia from Punjab.
On the other hand, Akali-Congress and BJP only talk about defeating us. In fact, these parties have no issues left to seek votes. All they care about forming their government at any cost and looting the tax money of the public. Now the loot of these people is about to end. That is why these people have gathered in anger against us.Kejriwal said that in the last 70 years, these corrupt parties together looted Punjab and indebted Punjab of three lakh crores. Kejriwal raised the question that when these people did not build good schools, did not build good hospitals, did not fix electricity, did not improve the condition of agriculture and did not provide employment to the people in Punjab, then where did they actually spend the 3 lakh crores. In fact, all this money was deposited in foreign banks in the accounts of the corrupt political leaders.Kejriwal said that the people of Punjab are fed up with these corrupt parties and leaders. Earlier people did not have a good option, so they used to vote for Akali-BJP and Congress. This time the people of Punjab have got an honest alternative in the form of Aam Aadmi Party and Bhagwant Mann.
Seeing the atmosphere among the people, all the parties are nervous. They are afraid that when the Aam Aadmi Party government is formed this time in Punjab, then their government loot business will stop forever. That’s why all of them together are abusing me and Bhagwant Mann. Channi does not speak anything to Sukhbir Badal. Even Sukhbir Badal does not target Channi and BJP. Prime Minister Modi and Priyanka Gandhi were also attacking me and Bhagwant Mann. Everyone wants to stop Bhagwant Mann from becoming the Chief Minister of Punjab at any cost, because Bhagwant Mann is an honest man. If he becomes the Chief Minister, then all their (Congress, SAD and BJP) loot and corruption will be exposed.Appealing to the people of Punjab, Kejriwal said that all the traditional parties came together to defeat our honest politics, now you (people of Punjab) should also unite to defeat their politics of loot and corruption. This time the corrupt system of Congress-SAD-BJP has to be defeated and has to be cleaned by forming an honest government of Aam Aadmi Party. This time we have to vote to save Punjab. Vote for the better future of your children. Vote to end corruption and mafia from Punjab.
