Will set an example of honest governance in the country by eliminating corruption and mafia : Bhagwant Mann

Barnala: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab Chief Minister candidate Bhagwant Mann campaigned in assembly constituencies of Barnala and Mehal Kalan under ‘Mission Punjab 2022’. Following the Covid guidelines of the Election Commission, Mann addressed people of these constituencies and also listened to their problems. People of Barnala and Mehal Kalan were enthusiastic to meet Mann and they welcomed him by showering flowers and with garlands.On Friday, Bhagwant visited Mehal Kalan, Mehal Khurd, Pandori, Chhapa, Kurad, Manal, Mangewal, Thulliwal, Gummati, Bhagwanpur, Sherpur, Kheri Kalan, Guram, Hamidi, Vajeedke Khurd, Vajeedke Kalan and Thikriwal of Mehal Kalan constituency. In Barnala Mann met the people of village Sanghera and Handeaya, and in city he addressed at Sandhu Patti, Valmik Chawnk, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Chawnk and Jawahar Lal Nehru Chawnk.

Addressing the people, Mann said that the Aam Aadmi Party government will fill the treasury of Punjab by ending the loot and corruption in the administration and with that money, people will get good education and medical facilities, free electricity, water and other facilities. He said that their government will completely eliminate the corruption spread in the governance system, sand mafia, cable mafia and drug mafia to make Punjab an example of honest governance in the country.Mann said that the traditional parties are fighting for power and to save their corrupt families. Nepotism based politics and corruption of these parties have destroyed Punjab. Our fight is to save Punjab, to save the future of the youth of Punjab. Our fight is to save the farmers from the corporate houses and to save the industries and the fleeing businessmen. We will save the farmers, youth and traders of Punjab. We will stop the brain drain of Punjab by providing the best higher education and adequate employment opportunities here in Punjab.

Mann reiterated AAP’s promise with the farmers of Punjab and said that in Aam Aadmi Party government farmers won’t bear any losses due to untimely rain. He said that once the grains reached mandi, it will become the responsibility of the government and farmers will get paid for their crops within 24 hours. He blamed previous governments for the poor condition of farmers and farming in the state and said that AAP government won’t let farmers suffer like Akali-Congress governments.Appealing to the people, Mann said that the government of the Aam Aadmi Party will be the government of the common people. In AAP government, the problems of all sections of the people will be heard and they will be resolved. To change the fortunes of Punjab and Punjabis, this time press the ‘jharoo’ button and form the government of Aam Aadmi Party. Mann said that he will stand with the people like he has been doing since becoming the MP of Sangrur and work tirelessly to solve the problems of the every section of Punjab.
