Harbhajan Singh ETO power minister Punjab dedicated 66 kV grid sub-station Baltana to the people of Punjab

S.A.S. Nagar : Shri Harbhajan Singh ETO Power Minister Punjab dedicated new 66 kV grid sub-station Baltana (Zirakpur) to the people Punjab today.

On this occasion Shri Harbhajan Singh ETO said that Punjab government under the leadership of Shri Bhagwant Mann chief minister punjab is committed to provide quality, reliable and uninterrupted power supply to the all categories of consumers of punjab.

Harbhajan Singh disclosed that this new 66 kV grid sub-station Baltana (Zirakpur) has been constructed with one number power transformer with a capacity of 20 MVA. He also disclosed that 2nd planned power transformer with a capacity of 20 MVA will be installed shortly.

He said that for this sub-station, 6.5KM 66kV transmission line has been constructed and the total expenditure is Rs/- 912 lacs.He said that this sub-station has been constructed keeping in view Zirakpur load centre and with the commissioning of this grid sub-station will give relief to existing 66 KV sub-station Dhakoli & 66KV sub-station Bhabat.

He said that with the commissioning of this grid sub-station would greatly boost the power supply to the he colonies near Baltana, Zirakpur-Ambala road area, Zirakpur-Patiala road area, Kalka-Shimla road Area, outskirts area of Zirakpur towards Chandigarh will get the supply from this new sub-station.
