Farmers will not face any kind of difficulty in mandis : Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal

Amritsar : Minister of Agriculture, Farmers Welfare, Rural Development and NRI Affairs. Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal assured the farmers for the smooth procurement of wheat in Punjab during the upcoming season and said that the government will not allow any kind of difficulty in the procurement of your crop.

He said that instructions have been given to the officials and procurement agencies in this regard, but you should not bring the wet wheat in mandi. He said that the Our government under the leadership of Bhagwant Singh Maan is ready for the welfare of farmers and no corruption will be tolerated in the procurement of farmers’ crops.

He said that mandis have been allotted to procurement agencies and each SDM will be as nodal officer in his sub-division. They also asked the officers to complete the proper arrangement of cleanliness, drinking water, toilets and urinals, lights etc. in the mandis.

Today, Mr. Dhaliwal started the work of CC flooring the old cart stand in Bhaktanwala Dana Mandi, which was not being used due to the deep space, and repairing the roads inside the mandi. He instructed all the officials that there should not be any laxity in the arrangements.
