Moga : Sandeep Hans, IAS Deputy Commissioner Moga today launched the Coffee Table Book titled, “Spiritual Journey of Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib”, authored by High Court Lawyer Harpreet Sandhu, in collaboration with Punjab Pollution Control Board, dedicated to the 400th Birth Anniversary of Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib.Deputy Commissioner, Moga appreciated the pious work compiled by Harpreet Sandhu in form of a Coffee Table Book depicting the pious journey of Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib from his Birth till Martyrdom through pictorial visuals of the Historical Gurudwaras, where Ninth Sikh Guru left his footprints during his life span, i.e. Guru ka Mahal (Amritsar), Gurudwara Vayah Asthan (Kartarpur, District Jalandhar), Gurudwara Bhora Sahib (Baba Bakala), Gurudwara Thara Sahib (Amritsar), Gurudwara Guru Ke Mahal (Bhora Sahib, Sri Anandpur Sahib), Gurudwara Thara Sahib (Sri Anandpur Sahib), Gurudwara Dukh Niwaran Patiala, Gurudwara Guru Ke Bagh, Patna Sahib, Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib (Chandni Chowk, Delhi), Gurudwara Rakab Ganj Sahib (Delhi), Gurudwara Bibangarh Sahib (Ropar), Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib (Sri Anandpur Sahib), Gurudwara Akal Bunga Sahib (Sri Anandpur Sahib).
Mr Sandeep Hans stated that the relevance and timing of the Coffee Table Book is most appropriate keeping in view the ongoing 400th year of Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib. He further stated that the Coffee Table Book prepared by Harpreet Sandhu has beautifully portrayed the “Spiritual Journey of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib which will be of immense interest for the entire humanity, particularly for the youth of Punjab and it will leave a deep imprint in their lives as it showcases the Sacred Shrines related to Ninth Sikh Guru and their brief history.During the small function organized in the meeting hall of District Administrative Complex, Mr Satwant Singh SDM Moga, Mr Prabhdeep Singh Nathowal DPRO Moga, Dr Neeraj and others were also present.
