DC and CP review arrangements for flagging off train by CM on Thursday

Jalandhar : Deputy Commissioner Jalandhar Mr Jaspreet Singh and Commissioner of Police Mr Kuldeep Singh Chahal today finalised the arrangements for flagging of train to Benaras by the Punjab Chief Minister Mr Bhagwant Mann on Thursday.

Both the officers visited the station and interacted with the representatives of Dera Ballan Management to finalise the arrangements for the mega event. The train full of pilgrims will chug off from the city station for Benaras to celebrate the parkash purab of Sri Guru Ravidass ji.

The train will be flagged off by the Chief Minister in the presence of lakhs of devotees.Both the officers said that foolproof arrangements will be made by the district administration to make this event a huge success.

They reviewed each and every arrangement minutely and directed the officers to ensure the compliance of orders by every employee. They said that it is a historic event and administration is duty bound to ensure that no stone is left unturned for the success of the mega event.

Both the officers said that every minute arrangement must be made in a befitting manner so that people do not face any sort of inconvenience during the entire event. They also reviewed the arrangements for parking of vehicles, facilities for the pilgrims, stage, water supply, sanitation, health, law & order, security and others.

Both the officers said that the administration has already made a blueprint for ensuring the success of this mega event to commemorate the parkash purab of Sri Guru Ravidass ji.
