Rural development minister bajwa dedicates renovated health centre and park at rs 45 lakh

Says state government commitment for overall development of villages

The Rural Development and Panchayat Minister Punjab Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa on Tuesday dedicated a renovated subsidiary health centre and Guru Nanak Park at the cost of Rs 45 lakh in Haripur village, nearly 36-km from district headquarters.Bawja accompanied by MLA Shahkot Hardev Singh Ladi Sherowalia, Additional Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal, said that the health centre has been renovated at the cost of Rs 20 lakh in support from NRIs and Guru Nanak Park has been developed worth Rs 25 lakh.

Lashing out at centre government for its step-motherly behaviour towards Punjab, the minister said that the union government has withheld all the dues of Punjab including GST share, Rural Development Funds and other financial aids. He termed the union government’s bearing towards Punjab as an attempt to derail the state economically.He called upon people to be United against this concurrency against the state.The Minister also announced a grant of Rs 25 lakh to Haripur village panchayat from discreationry funds. On the occasion, SDM Nakodar Gautam Jain, BDPO Sewa Singh and others were present.
