The all-round development of state can be ensured only when its agriculture practices grow and provide job opportunities to the youngsters.At Barnala, the Minister for Forests, Social Justice and Minorities Sadhu Singh Dharamsot participated in the video conference. Thanking the Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh for introducing scholarships for the Scheduled Caste students he said that state government came to the rescue of students after the center government stopped this scholarship program. He added that this would enable SC candidates to continue their studies and reach zenith.
PPCC vice president Mr Kewal Singh Dhillon said that the government was working on all fronts for the development of youngsters by keeping them away from drugs, initiating various sporting activities and providing them job opportunities as well as self-employment.During the video conference the MD of Trident Group Barnala Mr Rajinder Gupta appreciated the efforts of government in meeting up with demands of employers through such job fairs. He asserted of complete support to government in this initiative. He added that Trident Group has signed an MoU with the Punjab government under which it will train 250 youngsters with vocational skills, pay them Rs 6000 per month stipend during training period and will later give them employment opportunities.
