Health & Family Welfare Minister, Punjab Balbir Singh Sidhu here on Tuesday flagged-off 4 LED Vans under the Mission Fateh in view of creating awareness regarding COVID-19.Speaking at the occasion, Mr Balbir Sidhu said that as per the mandate of Mission Fateh campaign led by Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh, these LED vans will be deputed in the vulnerable urban / semi-urban areas of the districts of Amritsar, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, and Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar (Mohali) to screen films regarding Novel Corona Virus,

Chandigarh : Health & Family Welfare Minister, Punjab Balbir Singh Sidhu here on Tuesday flagged-off 4 LED Vans under the Mission Fateh in view of creating awareness regarding COVID-19.Speaking at the occasion, Mr Balbir Sidhu said that as per the mandate of Mission Fateh campaign led by Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh, these LED vans will be deputed in the vulnerable urban / semi-urban areas of the districts of Amritsar, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, and Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar (Mohali) to screen films regarding Novel Corona Virus, symptoms, prevention, and treatment to sensitize the community about pandemic using advanced audio-visual aids.Talking about vaccine to eradicate corona virus, Health Minister further said that department is working on COVID vaccination preparations and once the vaccine is supplied by the Government of India then the State will start immunization as per the guidelines. He appealed to the public to follow ‘Covid Appropriate’ behavior norms like wearing a mask, maintaining social distance, and hand washing.On the occasion, Director Health Services, Punjab Dr. Manjit Singh, OSD to Health Minister Dr Balwinder Singh, Director Co-operative Bank and Chairman Market Committee Kharar, Mr Harkeshchand Sharma, State Nodal Officer-COVID-19 Dr. Rajesh Bhaskar and other officers of Health Department were present.
