Mohali : All the district presidents of the state have been appointed on behalf of Bharatiya Janata Party Punjab President Ashwini Sharma and they have been entrusted with the responsibility of strengthening the BJP in their respective districts.
In such a situation, computer science engineer and industrialist Sanjeev Vashisht has been appointed as the district president of BJP. Sanjeev Vashisht has been serving as a state executive member of BJP for a long time and has been serving the party.
Apart from this, Vashisht also contested the Punjab Vidhan Sabha Elections 2022 on a BJP ticket from the Mohali Vidhan Sabha seat and got a double vote from Shiromani Akali Dal, which ruled Punjab for a long time.
Sanjeev Vashisht said that he will try to fulfill the trust that the party high command has reposed on him with full diligence and work day and night for the party’s strength, as he has been doing before. The work of bringing the public welfare policies of the Modi government from every village to every house will continue with more enthusiasm.
Vashishta belongs to an educated family
Sanjeev Vashisht himself is a computer engineer and belongs to an educated family. Vashisht’s father has retired from the post of Chief Engineer. While her elder sister is a doctor by profession who is married to an IAS officer. The younger sister is an IT professional and is also married to an engineer.
Vashisht’s wife has done LLM and daughter is doing engineering in computer science and son is doing plus one in non medical stream. Apart from this, Sanjeev Vashisht has been the former president of Mohali Industries Association, he has also been the president of Brahman Sabha Mohali and Seva Bharati Sanstha.
