Commissionerate Police Give Rousing Welcome To Motorcycle Rally On Its Arrival At Jalandhar To Mark National Unity Day

2536 Km Long Motorcycle Rally By Police Personnel Would Infuse Sense Of Unity Among Masses- Dcp Jagmohan Singh

Jalandhar : Jalandhar Commissionerate Police on Wednesday accorded a rousing welcome to 40 motorcyclists set out on a 2536 kilometer long journey starting from Uri to Kevadia (Gujarat) to mark the occasion of National Unity Day on October 31, 2021.Welcoming the personnel of Jammu & Kashmir Police participating in rally at PAP chowk Jalandhar, Deputy Commissioner of Police Jagmohan Singh said that this rally would infuse a sense of unity among masses as it would pass through different cities including Srinagar, Jammu, Jalandhar, New Delhi, Gwalior, Jhansi, Indore, Sabrmati before its culmination at Statue of Unity at Kevadia (Gujarat).

The riders were welcomed by DCP Jagmohan Singh, ADCP Jagjit Saroya, ADCP Traffic Gagnesh Kumar and other officials of Jalandhar Commissionerate of Police, who offered flower garlands to these cops besides expressing their good wishes for the remaining journey.DSP Ghulam Hussain, who was leading the motorcycle rally, said, “Forty jawans are participating in the motorcycle rally, which demonstrates national unity in every city and town.” He also thanked the Commissionerate of Police, Jalandhar for a warm welcome, then left for the next destination.Prominent amongst others present on the occasion included ACP Traffic Harvinder Bhalla, ACP Nirmal Singh, and SHO Baradari Ravinder Kumar.
