The Chandigarh Commission for Protection of Child Rights (CCPCR) today inaugurated the Digital Library at Govt. High School (Smart), Sector 53, Chandigarh. The commission provided all the infrastructure required for setting up the digital library. The Digital Library is a boon to the students studying/living in sector 53

Chandigarh : The Chandigarh Commission for Protection of Child Rights (CCPCR) today inaugurated the Digital Library at Govt. High School (Smart), Sector 53, Chandigarh. The commission provided all the infrastructure required for setting up the digital library. The Digital Library is a boon to the students studying/living in sector 53 and nearby areas. As all together thousands of students can have access to world literature and enhance their understanding of the world & its culture through the internet from the Child Right library. The Library, installed by the Commission, is equipped with the latest five computers, a Projector with screen, audio system, almirahs, chairs and tables.Harjinder Kaur, Chairperson, CCPCR, was the chief guest on this occasion. She highlighted the importance of developing reading habits amongst the students. She also applauded the efforts of school teacher, Mr. Kapil Mohan Sood, for his contribution towards student welfare and awareness and in setting up of the digital library in the school.On this occasion, Mrs. Monica, Mrs. Pooja Punchhi, Mr. Chanchal Singh and other members of CCPCR along with Mrs. Asha Rani, Cluster Incharge, were also present. Mr. Manoj Kumar, Incharge of school thanked the commission and all other members for gracing the occasion.
