Accused arrested with 5400 Tablets of LOMOTIL and 1900 Tablets of Tramadol Hydrochloride

S.A.S. Nagar : Satinder Singh SSP SAS Nagar  while issuing a press note said that the success was achieved as per the instructions given by the Punjab Government regarding the prevention of drug menace in the state of Punjab. Under the able guidance of Dr. Ravjot Grewal SP Rural, Mr. Amarj Singh DSP Zirakpur , Inspector Unkar Singh Brar SHO Zirakpur SI Jasnpreet Singh in-charge Police Chowki Baltana including the police party on 24/05/2021 when the police party was patrolling from Furniture Market Baltana towards Radha Swami Sat Sang Bhawan Baltana and when the police party was ear Singla Market village Baltana East  near Ganda Nala, Singla Market, village Baltana, a young man, about 25 years old, was sitting with a polythene bag in his hand when he saw a police party he tried to slip away by  crossing the drain. When Asked about  his name and address, he gave his name as Hukam Pal alias Nani, son of Antram, resident of village Dhadika, Tehsil and Police Station Shahbad, District Rampur currently residing at  House No. 524, Vikas Nagar, Mauli Jagra, UT, Chandigarh. In the presence of  DSP Amarej Singh PPS During the search 5400 Tablets of LOMOTIL and 1900 Tablets of Tramadol Hydrochloride were recovered. Accused  said  I live in Vikas Nagar Mauli Jagra Chandigarh and these narcotic pills were brought from Roorkee and were to be sold in the motor market .Case has been registered against the accused in case no. 310 dated 24/05/2021 u/s 22/61/85 of NDPS act The case has been registered at Zirakpur police station. The arrested accused has been produced before the  court in Dera Bassi and remanded in police custody. It is expected that more important revelations will be made during the interrogation of the accused.
