Cabinet Minister Aman Arora reviews developmental works of Muktsar

Public grievances should be solved on priority basis, Aman Arora

Sri Muktsar Sahib : Aman Arora, Minister of Information and Public Relations, New and Renewable Energy Sources and Housing and Urban Development today held a meeting with the officials of all departments of the district at the District Administrative Complex Sri Muktsar Sahib and reviewed the ongoing developmental works.

In this meeting S. Jagdeep Singh Kaka Brar-MLA Sri Muktsar Sahib, Gurmeet Singh Khuddian-MLA Lambi, Deputy Commissioner Vineet Kumar, SSP Sachin Gupta, Miss Rajdeep Kaur Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), Rajpal Singh Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) were also present.

While presiding over the meeting, Cabinet Minister Arora instructed the officials of all the departments that we all should collectively solve the problems of the people on priority basis so that they do not face any problem.

He asked all the departments’ heads that the chief motive of Punjab Government is to provide clean and transparent administration and carry out the development works without any bias. Cabinet Minister said that the completion of various developmental works will bring great relief to the people.

He also instructed the Deputy Commissioner to closely monitor the ongoing developmental works in the district and to complete them within the stipulated manner.During the meeting, he instructed the Sewerage Department to give utmost attention to the sewage problem of the city and solve the sewage problem permanently.

He further said that the Punjab government is committed to provide health facilities to the people and Mahalla Clinics are being opened in the state so that the poor and needy persons can avail the health facilities.

He instructed the agriculture department to create awareness to protect the cotton from pink blight, he said that the farmers in whose fields the cotton crop has been damaged due to rain should be encouraged to grow paddy and basmati crops.

He also instructed the Social Security Department to give the benefit of the pension scheme to the eligible beneficiaries.On this occasion, the Punjab Police contingent also gave a guard of honor to the cabinet minister at Canal rest house.

Jagdev Singh Bam, Jashan Brar, Varinder Dhosiwal, Vicky Kumar, Manveer Singh, Dilbag Singh, Iqbal Singh, Jagmeet Singh, Amardhir Singh and Jagmeet Singh Jagga were also present on this occasion.
