People of Jubbal, Nawar and Kotkhai area contribute Rs. 22.63 lakh towards HP SDMA COVID-19 SDRF

Shimla : Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur was presented cheques of Rs. 22,63,000 by Chief Whip Narinder Bragta as contribution on behalf of people of Jubbal, Nawar and Kotkhai area of Shimla district towards ‘HP SDMA COVID-19 State Disaster Response Fund’ here today.The major contributors are Rs. five lakh by Secretary, Samajik Sewa Samiti Nandri Mata Durga Mandir Pujarali, Tehsil Kotkhai, rupees one lakh each by Ramesh Chauhan, Village Jakhor Jubbal and Surender Hansretta, Village Bholar Jubbal, Rs. 51000 by Vinod Chauhan, KKI Truck Operators Union, Kotkhai, Rs. 50 thousand by Satish Kumar Vij, Sneh Bhawan, Chhota Shimla and Rs. 31,000 by Vikas Sharma, Near Atal Bihari Vajpayee Engineering College, Pragtinagar, Tehsil Kotkhai, district Shimla.Chief Minister thanked the contributors for their noble gesture and said that such contributions would go a long way in helping the needy in the hour of distress.Chief Whip Narinder Bragta said that people of Jubbal Kotkhai area of Shimla district has so far contributed Rs. 60,69,351 towards this Fund.
