One Hour Silence Observed In District In Memory Of Those Succumbed To Covid-19

Hoshiarpur : In memory of those succumbed to COVID-19, one hour silence has been observed properly across the district with a very minimal movement of vehicles on roads.The District Police teams led by SP (D) Ravinder Pal Singh Sandhu gathered at local Sessions Chowk where siren got blown to apprise people about the one hour silence at the start and end of the silence hour. The police teams urged the general public to observe silence in respect of those, who died due to COVID-19 as a respect and sympathy with their families.About today’s initiative SP (D) Ravinder Pal Singh Sandhu stated that all DSPs motivate the people voluntarily towards this endeavour in respect of the departed souls due to COVID. He said that people also joined the one hour silence voluntarily besides the emergency services including ambulances etc were remained operational seamlessly.
