ISM Doda distributes Immunity Booster medicines among front line workers

Doda : Continuing the ongoing activities of distribution of immunity boosters among the frontline workers of district Doda,the team of ISM department Doda on the directions of District Development Commissioner Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode and on the instructions of Director, Indian Systems of Medicine (ISM),J&K, Jammu, today distributed immunity boosting AYUSH medicines free of cost among more than 700 frontline functionaries of various departments and general public in Doda.Around 6000 beneficiaries including frontline workers of health, police and employees of various other departments besides general public have been provided with these medicines by the ISM AYUSH Doda.Medical Officer Dr Mubashir Mintoo along with Dr Ashwani Thakur and team of other staff members instructed employees about the mode of consumption and dosage of these immune boosting medicines.The employees were also made aware about the universal preventive measures against the spread of COVID-19 including regular hand washing, social distancing, coughing and sneezing etiquettes and other related precautions which needs to be taken in present crises.Pertinently, the process of distribution of Immune boosting AYUSH medicines has also been initiated throughout the district by AYUSH Officers at their respective place of postings, besides the whole process of distribution is being done under the close supervision of ADMO Doda Dr R K Shan.
