54 More Patients Cured And Discharged From Covid Care Centre, Hospitals And Home Isolation

Jalandhar :A total of 54 more patients including four from local civil hospital, 19 from Covid Care Centre in Government Meritorious School, two from Military Hospital, six from BSF Hospital today were cured and discharged besides 23 completed their home isolation period.Now in Jalandhar, 1436 patients so far have won over Covid besides the district has now 544 active cases and 39 persons succumbed to Covid.Meanwhile, 23 patients completed their home isolation period today. These patients were in isolation at homes under the supervision of health teams and successfully completed their active home quarantine period today.After discharged, they lauded the hard work and commitment of the doctors, nurses and health workers during the course of their treatment.They also appreciated the state government led by the Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh for ensuring sufficient arrangements for quality treatment to them.Deputy Commissioner Mr Ghanshyam Thori complimented the team of doctors for ensuring quality treatment to these patients through which they were able to recover. He said that the day was not far when Jalandhar would be free of this Covid 19.He called upon people to follow physical distancing, respiratory etiquettes, meticulous hand hygiene and avoid touching face, eyes and nose.
