Reasi : A blood donation camp was today organised in the Community Health Centre Katra under the supervision of Dr. Gopal Dutt Block Medical Officer.A team of experts headed by Dr Kajal Khajuria, Assistant professor GMC Udhampur, collected the blood units.
Valuable donation of approximately 25 units of life saving blood bags were collected and transported to GMC Udhampur for further use in emergency cases.Persons from different organisations and professions including media fraternity, police officers/officials, health care officers/officials, CRPF personnel, Nirankari Sewa Bandus and volunteers donated the blood for the noble cause.
All the donors were provided with refreshment as per set protocols. BMO Katra appreciated the donors for their philanthropic efforts.
