Food Corporation of India (FCI) celebrate “Azaadi ka Amrit Mahotsav”

Ludhiana : Food Corporation of India (FCI) Divisional Office Ludhiana celebrated Azaadi ka Amrit Mahotsav at Guru Nanak Dev Bhawan. The function was presided by chief guest Dr Amar Singh MP Shri Fatehgarh Sahib. Deputy commissioner Ludhiana Varinder Kumar Sharma was the guest of honour present and followed by other guests including Amit Kumar Panchaal, ADC (Dev), Ludhiana and Ashok Kumar Juneja Advocate, Member of Consultative Committee of FCI were present at the event.While speaking on the occasion, DC Varinder Kumar Sharma shared the importance of Food Corporation of India (FCI) in ensuring food security to the nation in which FCI plays a pivotal role.

Dr Amar Singh MP Shri Fatehgarh Sahib further addressed the audience and explained his pleasure attending the auspicious occasion organised by FCI. He also praised DM FCI Ludhiana for his exemplary leadership in conducting day to day operations.The function started with the lamp lighting by Chief guest and remembering the great martyrs of freedom struggle. The employees of FCI presented Saraswati Samman and a patriotic song to enlighten the evening.The chief guest presented felicitation gifts to families of freedom fighter present during the function. A patriotic dance was presented by school children to which the whole auditorium got filled with claps.The function ended by closing note by AGM(QC) FCI DO Ludhiana and further appreciating the efforts of all those who participated.
