Vice-Chairperson DDC Udhampur calls for streamlining of health centres in far flung areas

Udhampur : Juhi Pathania, Vice Chairperson District Development Council Udhampur, on Saturday met scores of delegations at Udhampur and took stock of various grievances put forth by them.

Interacting with the delegations, she said with the coming into power of a vibrant government under charismatic leadership of PM Narendra Modi ji thousands eyes of hope and optimism lit in remote, backward areas of Udhampur.

She called for streamlining of the health institutions located in the far flung areas of Dudu-Basantgarh, Pancheri, Moungri, Ramnagar, Chenani, Majalta with deployment of adequate staff, infrastructure, X-ray and ultrasound facilities.

She called for provision of best facilities in consonance with the Bharat sarkar’s ‘Health for all’ campaign. Pinki Devi, DDC Latti -Marotti threw light upon various hardships faced by people of the areas.

She demanded for catering to the health requirements, Sub District Hospitals at Majalta & Dudu-Basantgarh, Accidental Hospital at Manwal, PHCs at Garh Samnabanj, Kulwanta, Chowki, Pinger, and New Subcentres at Ponara, Sandloo (S.K ber) Panjian.

Abdul Rehman, Chairman Dev. Committee Dudu, also led a delegation and projected the demands of the far flung area. He sought a Tourism Development Authority, national highway from Mantalai to Dudu to Basantgarh to Ramnagar.

He also called for spurring developmental activities in the area. While interacting with various delegations, Juhi called for immediate release of compensation to people whose lands have been taken for provision of PMGSY roads.

She was dealing with a delegation seeking release of compensation for lands acquired for PMGSY roads in Majalta.
