Shopian (Mudasir Maqbool) : Under Construction Clock Tower in South Kashmir’s Shopian Town is Trending these days via its Unique and advance features being added after Completion, Officials said,This Clock tower is being built in main town at famous place called “Gole market or Gole Chowk ” and after Completion it will not provide information regarding only time, but weather, air Pollution and temperature and other Important information Executive Officer Municipal Council Shopian Javid Azad said,The 52-feet-tall tower is being built by Municipal Council Shopian at centre location of town at Gole Chowk under the Supervision of R&B (Roads and buildings Department ) was designed by Rafi Saqib Architects and is first triangular tower in terms of structure in Jammu and Kashmir.Mohd Mubarak Assistant Engineer Roads and Buildings talking to news paper said. It is Unique Clock Tower for its design addition to these features a biometrics board will be installed act as Notice board and Departments put notices on it.The Construction work on this tower is going from last two months and we will complete work on it in a short span of time will be inaugurated on September 1, officials said.They added, This Clock tower is more modern than traditional triangular and unique design will not tell only time but, pollution meters and Surveillance cameras would installed on it would be an idle Construction in the district.
