Srinagar : Sheikh Asif, a young entrepreneur from Srinagar, Kashmir, has started an initiative to “Mission to Teach 10,000 People” . Hailing from Batamaloo Srinagar, Sheikh Asif is the founder and CEO of the UK-based information technology company Thames Infotech. Mr. Asif is the author of 3 books. He is also giving online classes to students.
He has taught hundreds of students in the past. With this new initiative, he wants to reach the maximum number of students to provide them with free online classes. “I am going to give online courses in graphic design, web design, digital marketing, etc., which will be free of charge. ” Everything is digital nowadays. Students can learn new skills and earn their living from those skills digitally. The reason for starting this initiative is to empower students worldwide, “he further added.
Mr. Asif started his online classes in 2018 but was highly demotivated due to the lower number of students who used to attend his online classes. Many volunteers are now helping him to reach the maximum number of students. While talking with the media, Sheikh said that anyone who wants to join my initiative can join my team as a volunteer .
“Teaching is my passion. Due to financial constraints, I dropped out of school years back, and now I am giving free classes to students so that no student can stop learning because of financial problems.
People are supporting him in this initiative, and in just two days, scores of students have registered for these online courses. Mr. Asif said, “After the completion of the courses, the students will get a certificate of completion, and those students who are doing well during the period will also be hired by my company.’’
