SFCAC Committee meeting held at Udhampur

Udhampur : A meeting of the Sponsorship & Foster Care Approval Committee (SFCAC) was held today under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Sachin Kumar Vaishya at Mini Conference Hall DC Office Complex Udhampur.
District Social Welfare Officer, Kanika Gupta briefed about various aspects of Mission Vatsalya, an umbrella scheme for child protection services in the district. She informed that the case files need scrutinisation and prioritisation by the SFCAC committee and that cases are sponsored for a period of 3 years.
During the meeting, Deputy Commissioner, Sachin Kumar Vaishya approved 58 cases and directed the SFCAC Committee members to ensure that files are approved as per the prioritisation set according to the guidelines issued by the government.
