My Town My Pride : Series of activities held at Kulgam

Kulgam : As part of ‘My Town My Pride’ programme, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat today visited Town hall kulgam where he listened to issues and grievances of people for redressal.

Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Kulgam, Showkat Ahmad Rather; Deputy Director Urban Local Bodies Kashmir, Mohd Rafeeq Bhat and other offices also participated in the programme.

The DC gave patient hearing to the issues and grievances projected by the people for early redressal. Meanwhile, a series of activities were also carried out at Town hall Kulgam under ‘My Town My Pride’ programme.

Awareness cum training programmes, seminars, plantation drives, special sanitation drives, water sample testing, anti encroachment drives, plastic free Kulgam drives and other activities were carried out by various departments across all municipal areas of the district.

Besides, Ghar pravesh camps and birth and death certificates, trade licenses, street vending licenses were also issued to the applicants. Stalls and registration counters were set up by various departments at Town hall Kulgam where people were also apprised about various given schemes and beneficiaries were also registered at these counters.

The programme was attended by President Municipal Council Kulgam Muneeb Ahmad, EO Kulgam M. Irfan and other officers.
