Release of awareness booklet marks start of Kissan Pakwada in Kishtwar

Kishtwar:Release of awareness booklet marked the start of Kissan Pakwada here in this mountainous district. District Development Commissioner, Rajinder Singh Tara released the booklet containing information related to various schemes of Agriculture and allied sectors. The same would be distributed among the farmers during the fortnightly programme.“The district administration is going to hold 33 awareness camps whereat the departments would display their schemes and products and educate the masses about the benefits farmers can avail under the same,” said the DDC after inauguration of the Pakwada.Additional Deputy Commissioner, Pawan Parihar; Assistant Commissioner Revenue Kishtwar, Dr Amir Hussain; the BDC chairperson Kishtwar Block, Suresh Sharma; Chief Agriculture Officer, T.K Atri and Saffron Development Officer Amjad Hussain Malik were also present at the launch ceremony.
