DDC seeks formulation of comprehensive District Action Plan

District administration Kishtwar today discussed the composition and constitution of the District level Export promotion committee and the terms and references laid down by the J&K government for its working.The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has ordered the constitution of the committee in each district to boost export of the local agriculture, handicraft and other export potential products.In this regard, District Development Commissioner, Rajinder Singh Tara, held detailed deliberations with the District Officers of Agriculture, Horticulture, Handicrafts, Handloom, KVIB and others, here at a meeting.Additional Deputy Commissioner, Pawan Parihar; Chief Agriculture Officer, T.K Atri; Chief Horticulture Officer, Mohd Iqbal Baba; District Lead Bank Manager, Nasir Hussain and Assistant Director Handicrafts were also present on the occasion.The meeting listed the terms of reference laid down by the government and to be followed by the district Level Export promotion Committee.The DDC informed that to identify potential export products of the
