Joint Forces bust hideout in Ganderbal forest area

Ganderbal : Joint Forces Monday busted a hideout in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal forest area district and recovered arms and ammunition.A Police Spokesperson said that upon a reliable information from own source about presence of some suspicious objects in a forest, Ganderbbal Police along with joint teams of PC Ganderbal, 24 RR and 115 Battalion CRPF launched a CASO in the forest area of Shajinar Gutlibagh.During searches in the thick woods ammunition was found lodged in a cavity beneath a rock and was recovered on the spot.These include AK Magazine 11 number, AK Live Ammunition 597 Rounds. Pistol Magzine one Pistol Ammunition 6 Rounds and UBGL Rounds 12 numbers.Following this, case FIR vide number 91 of 2021 U/S 7/25 / IA Act has been registered in PS Ganderbal and investigation taken up.
