DDC Chairman reviews progress of development works in Bhadarwah

Bhadarwah (Doda) : Chairman District Development Council (DDC) Doda today reviewed the progress of developmental works being executed in Sub Division Bhaderwah. DDC member Bhaderwah West Youdhvir Singh, BDC Chairman Omi Chand also attended the meeting.

ADC, Dilmir Choudhary presented a brief overview of various developmental works being executed in the sub division. Issue of illegal encroachment particularly along roads and over the drains was discussed and directions were issued to remove the same.

The meeting decided to issue notices to Commercial buildings within the town to adhere to the rules of environmental laws. Park at Seri bazaar Bhaderwah will be developed and work of beautification will be undertaken soon.

ASP Bhadarwah, DFO, ExEn R&B , XEN I&FC, XEN BDA, Capt GREF, AEEs , JEs and representatives of various other departments were present in the meeting. DDC Chairman exhorted the officials to work in coordination for welfare of the people and ensure that public money is spent on community welfare

He directed the officials to remain accessible to the public during office hours to address their grievances in a time bound manner. He directed the concerned officers to complete the projects at an earliest to avoid lapse of the allotted funds.

He directed the concerned to gear up for the upcoming tourist season and ensure cleanliness of town and tourist spots for maintaining a healthy environment to attract more tourists this season. He stressed upon the concerned officers to make the upcoming event of Askini Bhadarkashi Utsav successful.
