Ramban Administration finalizes District Convergence Plan under Poshan Abhiyan

Ramban : The District Convergence Plan under Poshan Abhiyan was today finalized here in a meeting chaired by Additional District Development Commissioner, Rajinder Sharma.The meeting was attended by CPO Dr Kasturi Lal, PO, ICDS, Attar Chand, ACD, Ashok Katoch, CMO Dr. Kamal Zadoo, CEO Dev Anand, DSWO Rahul Gupta, CDPO, Ravinder Kour and others concerned.

During the meeting, a threadbare discussion was held on the construction of 33 Anganwari Centre buildings in convergence with MGNERGA, provision of safe drinking water for 83 Anganwari Centres, provision of sanitation for 54 AWCs, provision of LPG connection for 803 AWCs, awareness of primary, secondary and tertiary stakeholder of 803 AWCs and procurement of masks, gloves, soaps and sanitisers for AWCs.

The ADDC directed PO, ICDS to ensure the availability of safe drinking water and the construction of toilets for AWCs in consultation with PRIs members.The ADDC asked the heads of concerned departments to work in tandem and pool their efforts and resources for the convergence plan for achieving tangible results under the Poshan Abhiyan.Meanwhile, the ADDC directed the Jal Shakti and ICDS Department to come up with a precise plan for providing safe drinking water to Anganwadi Centres.
