Pulwama Police arrested two drug peddlers, 30 kg Fukki recovered

Pulwama (Mudasir Maqbool ) : Continuing to strengthen its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, Pulwama Police arrested two drug peddlers and recovered contraband substance.A Police Party from Police Station Litter established a naka at Naina batapora, During Naka checking Police Party intercepted one Santro car bearing registration number CHO4K/0125. During search Police Party recovered 30 kgs of Fukki from the said vehicle. The drug peddlers were arrested on spot and the vehicle used for commission of crime also seized.

The accused persons were subsequently identified as Umar Bashir S/o Bashir Ahmad Dass R/o Waghama Bijbehara & Haroon Amin Sheikh S/o Mohd. Amin Sheikh R/o Naina.To this effect Case FIR number 73/2022 under section 8/15 of NDPS Act stands registered at Police Station Litter and investigation set into motion.Community members are requested to come forward with any information regarding drug peddlers in their neighbourhood. Persons found indulging in drug peddling will be dealt as per law.
