Progress under PMJAY-SEHAT scheme reviewed at Rajouri

55 special camps being organised to enrol left-out beneficiaries

Rajouri : District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, today chaired a meeting to review the progress under PM-JAY SEHAT and discuss in detail the modalities for speeding up the registration process of the left-out population in the district.

During the meeting, the DDC sought details regarding the registration of beneficiaries under the scheme and the status of Golden Cards issued to date.The meeting was informed that against 154000 targeted families, 151400 families have been enrolled under the scheme, which constitutes 98.3 percent.

To ensure every citizen of the district is provided a Golden Card to take the benefits under the said scheme, it was decided that District Project Manager CSCs shall organize 55 camps in the rural areas with special focus on the areas where the registration is deficient.

He also directed that BMOs ensure to motivate the left-out population for enrollment by utilizing the services of Panchayat members and local Institutions. While finalizing the action plan for providing Golden Cards to all citizens of the district under the PM-JAY SEHAT scheme, it was also decided in the meeting that special camps would be organized in the Educational institutions for enrolment of left-out beneficiaries.

The meeting was attended by CMO Dr. Hamid Zargar; CEO, Shailesh Kumari, AD Planning, Mohd Rafi Malik, BMos, District Project Manager, Shahid Malik, and other concerned officers.
