Prasashan Gaon Ki Aur : Awareness, Orientation camp organised by DE & CC at Khellani

Doda : District Employment & Counseling Centre Doda, under the ongoing ‘Good Governance Week’ (PRASHASAN GAON KI AUR), today organised awareness cum orientation program here at Khellani.

The program was attended by PRI members & youth of the area and was organized under the supervision of Deputy Director Employment, Idrees Lone and attended by several officers & officials from various departments including District Industries Centre, Animal Husbandry, Banks, Rural Development & Panchayati Raj.

Awareness about various self-employment schemes was imparted to the participants & they were encouraged to avail the benefits of the schemes.

The youth were informed about the benefits of getting themselves registered on the portal of Employment department and briefed about the self-employment schemes like Mumkin, Tejaswini and Spurring Entrepreneurship Initiative of Mission Youth.

Functional Manager DIC Doda discussed in detail various aspects of PM Employment Guarantee Program, right from filing of online application to the sanctioning of loan to facilitate the young entrepreneurs to establish manufacturing & services start ups in both in rural & urban areas with a provision of subsidy.

For the district being a predominantly rural & agrarian economy, the participants were also given detailed awareness about the Integrated Dairy Development Scheme of Animal Husbandry which can be beneficial for the area.

Ahsanul Haq Malik, Branch Head JK Bank Khellani also cleared various doubts of aspiring entrepreneurs. The PRIs & locals of the area appreciated the efforts of District Administration for organizing such event for the youth.
