Planning for works, preparation of MGNREGA Labour Budget begins in Kulgam

Kulgam : Rural Development Department Kulgam today organized a function at Townhall Kulgam to kick start Planning for works and preparation of Labour budget under MGNREGA for FY-2022-23.This Planning for works and preparation of Labour budget was formally kick started by the Deputy Commissioner Kulgam, Dr.Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din-Bhat in presence of DDC members, Devsar, BDCs, Sarpanchs and Panchs.Besides ADC, ACD, ACP and other officers were present on the occasion.The Deputy Commissioner while speaking on the occasion said that through Gram Sabhas and active participation of people these plans are to be formulated.

He also laid stress for timely payment of wages and for developing durable assets across the district.While complimenting the RDD Department for proper execution and implementation of various departmental schemes in the district, the Deputy Commissioner said that the Department has successfully generated livelihood and Developed durable assets in the district which is appreciable, he added.ACD Kulgam, Mohammad Imran Khan also highlighted various achievements recorded in the District by the Department during the current fiscal.He also added that District kulgam is one among the top performing districts of Union territory of J&K in timely disbursal of payment, geotagging, Aadhar seeding and wage disbursement.
