Nasha Mukta Bharat Abhiyan : Awareness session held at Gujjar Bakarwal Boys Hostel Anantnag

Anantnag : The Gujjar Bakarwal Boys Hostel Anantnag today organised a comprehensive event under Nasha Mukta Bharat Abhiyan in which nine renowned doctors of Kashmir participated.The warden of the hostel, Rafafat Choudhary, while presenting the welcome speech, said that drug addiction is increasing in the new generation due to which the society is facing complex health problems.

He said that students from the tribal community are vulnerable to the menace and as such an awareness session is being organised at the institute. Dr Mohammad Ashraf Khatana, Dr Basharat Kasana, Dr Rafaqat Jamali, Dr Bashir Ahmad Khan, Dr Abdul Gani Paswal, Dr Siddhrah Zia, Dr Ali Jan participated in the event and counseled the students regarding the harmful effects of drug abuse and the associated health issues.

The doctors also conducted a medical examination of all the students of the hostel and prescribed necessary medicines.On the occasion, the painting of famous artist from tribal community Munir Ahmed Khan regarding Nasha Mukta Bharat Abhiyan was also displayed. Munir Ahmed also spoke on the occasion.
