Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyan : Student rallies, awareness programmes, pledges, debates held across schools of Shopian

Shopian : As part of the month long ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan’, various activities were conducted today including rallies, awareness programmes, pledges, debates etc.Teachers, students and community members also participated in Nasha Mukt Rallies in different educational institutions across the district to culminate the first week of ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan’, and to uphold the promise for eradication of the drug menace in the society.

Debates regarding Drug Abuse and its ill effects were conducted, besides, student rallies were also held by the educational institutions which saw participation of teachers and a large number of students during the first week of campaign.

Teachers and hundreds of students participated in the rally and raised different slogans including ‘Zindagi Se Rishta Jodo, Drugs Se Nata Todo’ and ‘Say No to Drugs, Yes to Life’.Besides, the students were also holding placards during the rallies denouncing the addiction to disseminate awareness among the common masses about the adverse effects of drugs.
