Kulgam : Under the ambitious programme My town My pride, Shehri Jan Abhiyan started today in Kulgam under which awareness cum training programmes, seminars, plantation drives, special sanitation drives, water sample testing and other activities were carried out by various departments across all municipal areas of the district.
Moreover, Municipal Council Kulgam organised a Literary cum Art camp at Townhall here which was presided over by the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat.
The programme was also attended by SSP Kulgam Dr.G.V.Sandeep, Sessions Judge Kulgam Mir Wajahat, President Municipal Council Kulgam Muneeb Ahmad Zargar, EO MC Kulgam Irfan Ahmad and other officers. Students from various schools took part in drawing and painting competitions and were felicitated later.
