‘My Town My Pride’ Phase-2 : President MC Ramban presided over an awareness function, launches plantation drive
Ramban : District Administration Ramban intensified activities under Jan Abhiyan as a part of ‘My Town My Pride’ Phase-2 under the aegis of the Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam to achieve the indicators of different sectors for saturating all developmental, social and job oriented schemes.
The line departments organized various programmmes in all three Municipal limits of the district including Ramban, Banihal and Batote. The President, MC, Sunita Sumbria presided over an awareness camp organized by the Municipal Council, Ramban which was attended by the Councilors, DFO Ramban Rajan Singh, DFO SF, Mahesh Thakur, ARTO, Samrinder Singh, Prominent Citizens, various other officers of line departments and the general public.
The officers of the Motor Vehicle Department, Forest, Industries, Housing Board, JPDCL, Jal Shakti, Agriculture, Housing and Urban Development, KVIB, and other line departments sensitize the participants about the schemes of their respective departments, besides encouraging the youth to take benefit of all government schemes, especially job oriented schemes.
The main focus was laid on the saturation of various schemes like PMJAY, PMAY-U, Golden card, and PMEGP and various pension schemes of the social sector. After planting a sapling in the premises of Dak Bungalow Ramban, the President MC inspected the stalls installed by the various departments to sensitize the general public about the various welfare schemes launched by the government for the benefit of the people, especially unemployed youth.
It was informed that Jan Abhiyan is being conducted in all three municipalities of District Ramban to saturate all developmental, social sector, and job-oriented schemes launched by the different departments to facilitate the public, especially poor, deprived, and downtrodden sections of the urban areas of the district.
Similar programmmes were also held at the Municipal Committee, Banihal and Batote in their respective MCs where the Executive Officers, officers, and officials of various departments sensitized the general public about the welfare schemes launched for the benefit of people, especially unemployed youth.
