Model Higher Secondary School Sawjian hosts Talent hunt show

Poonch : Government Model Higher Secondary School Sawjian on Monday organised a mega talent hunt show for the students in singing, dancing, painting and acting.Block Development Officer, Mandi Zamood Ahmed was the chief guest on the occasion.

In the mega talent hunt show, the students of the Model Higher Secondary School Sawjian, High School Gagrian, High School Dunugam and some Middle Schools of the Cluster participated and displayed their talent in singing, dancing, painting and acting.

The Students sang Patriotic, Folk and light Music songs in Pahari, Gojri, Kashmiri, Urdu and Hindi languages.The Principal Model Higher Secondary School Sawjian, Anwar Khan, said that this programme was a part of a series of activities being hosted to spot the talent for forthcoming Kala Utsav to be organised by the Ministry of Education Government of India.

He also informed that National Education policy 2020 also advocates Art integrated learning, which being experiential learning, helps the students to achieve learning outcomes. Saleem Rishi, Teacher Model Higher Secondary School Sawjian conducted the proceedings of the program.

All the participants were awarded by the school administration. Addressing the gathering, the Chief Guest said that he was astonished to see such extremely talented students in this remote border Village. He advised the students to pursue their studies and hobbies side by side and strive to be good citizens of India.
